We looked for a New Mexico timber price report and could not confirm one. No state extension service, forestry commission or natural resources department was found publishing standing timber prices, delivered log prices, or state sale results for New Mexico on a schedule anybody could rely on.
So this page prints nothing. Not an estimate, not a regional figure borrowed from a state next door, not a number off a national chart. A landowner selling once in fifteen years deserves better than a guess dressed up as a report, and an invented figure here would be worse than an empty page.

The honest answer
There is no New Mexico price for timber
A standing tree cannot be shipped to the highest bidder. It has to be cut, dragged to a landing, loaded and hauled to a gate that will take it, and the freight comes out of the same load the timber does. Two identical stands fifty miles apart are worth different money, and no state figure can close that gap.
50 wood processors are listed in New Mexico across 16 counties. Which of them sit within working distance of your gate is what decides who bids on your tract and what they can afford to pay for it.
Species and grade split it again. Pine sawtimber, chip-n-saw, pulpwood and veneer-grade hardwood move on separate markets, and a stand is usually worth sorting into products rather than selling as one lot. The site's market board sets out why there is no world price for a load of logs, and the timber value chain shows where each layer of the money goes between the stump and the mill gate.
