Find a tree service company

Outfits that take trees down, trim them, grind the stumps, clear a lot, and turn out after a storm — searchable by the work they take, the state they're in, and the counties and equipment they list.

Listed, never verified. AXE USA does not vet, approve, or insure the companies on this page — we just carry the listing. Before you hand anybody a key or a check, get their license, their certificate of insurance, and their references, and check them yourself.

  1. Say what the work is

Removal, trimming, stump grinding, storm response, lot clearing — then narrow by state, by what the company lists holding, and by years in business.

  2. Read the company's own words

Each card is written and published by the company itself, including the counties it covers and the iron it runs. AXE USA checks none of it.

  3. Call them and check them yourself

The number is on the card. No lead form, no middleman, no fee — call direct, ask for the certificate of insurance and the license, and verify them.

Money and coverage for the iron

A tree service buys the same paper everybody else on this site buys: equipment loans and leases on the chipper and the bucket truck, an operating line of credit, general liability, workers comp, and commercial auto. The lender and insurance desks are matched on the product, the state, and the size of the deal.

Chipper down on a Friday

The service board takes chipper, grinder and truck work the same way it takes a skidder: post what broke and where it sits, and shops inside driving distance see it. Posting is free, and your number stays off the board until you hand it over.

Standing timber to sell, a tract cruised, or a harvest run is a different trade — search foresters and forestry companies instead. If you need the machine and the hands rather than a company, search crews by equipment — mulchers, chippers, grinders, excavators, and chainsaw hand crews.
